The Lion King

We had a fantastic night last night. Ronald McDonald House had tickets donated to the Broadway show “The Lion King”. We traveled in the NYPD (Police) vans to the theatre in times square. We all enjoyed ourselves so much and the show was incredible. Unfortunately due to Dylan’s pooping issue, we did spend a great deal of time back and fourth to the bathroom though. On the way back we started chatting with a very attractive young women from Texas. As it turned out, she too has Neuroblastoma, and she is 25! She was diagnosed 2 years ago and has finally been referred to MSKCC as the hospital that was treating her basically told her that they really didn’t know what they were doing. It was such a privilege to meet her, and I have to say, even with no hair, she is absolutely gorgeous! Today we are off for a stroll to look at Grand Central Station and The Empire State Building…just have to get these kids out of bed first!
