No more fever

Amazingly Dylan’s Temperature went down through the night, even as low as 36.4. He tolerated his feeds at 20ml per hour also and as yet no ulcers at all! Tonight I will increase his feeds to 25ml per hour as he is still not eating. Let’s hope it stays that good. I am continuing antibiotics and magnesium supplements and have started him back on the raspberry extract which is suppose to be a natural defense for cancer cells, you can read more about raspberry extract at
www.clemson.edu/agforestryresearch/news/raspberries
I buy mine from a local chemical free farm for only $8.50 a bottle, which will last at least 10 months due to the small amount that Dylan requires. So even if it doesn’t work, it’s a cheap attempt. I do think Dylan is coping with the chemo a lot better since he has been taking it, not sure if it’s a coincidence or not. I forgot to explain why Dylan wet the bed so often when he is in hospital…In-between chemo treatments they flush his system with a high rate of IV fluids, which causes Dylan to pee about every 45mins, you can almost set your clock to it! This is why at night he cannot control himself, or he would have to wake up at least every hour to pee.
