Still neutropenic

We went to hospital today for a dressing change & flush on Dylan’s Hickman line. Dylan also had a blood test to see if he is well enough to have a bone marrow aspiration tomorrow. The results showed that his haemoglobin and platelets are good but he is still neutropenic even though it has been a month since his last big chemo. We picked up Cain from the Challenge camp after hospital and it was great to see him again. We all have missed Cain so much. At 7:30pm Dylan complained that he was nauseous and he felt hot. His temperature was 39! I decided to wait 15 minutes and take it again. It came down over a hour and through the night ranged between 36.5 and 37.5 which is normal. If it goes up past 38.5 tomorrow then we will go back to hospital.
